Italy: Paolo Dal Pino, president of the Lega Serie A, resigns after settling in the United States

"In January (2022), I moved the center of my professional and family life to California (USA). It is therefore impossible to continue in my role as president of the Lega Serie A," wrote Paolo Dal Pino, president of the Italian Professional Football League in charge of the Serie A, in a letter addressed to the presidents of the 20 clubs on 01/02/2022.

"It has been an honour to preside over the assembly and the board of directors and I thank you all for the two years spent together. Since the beginning of my mandate, I have tried to address the critical issues of Series A governance and innovation, carrying out the creation of a media company and the entry into the capital of private equity funds," said Paolo Dal Pino, who was elected as president of the Lega Serie A on 08/01/2020 and then re-elected on 21/01/2021.
