Covid-19/France: a return to full capacity in stadiums from 02/02/2022

From Wednesday 02/02/2022, establishments in France receiving the public in a seated configuration (stadiums, concert halls, theatres, etc.), will be able to continue operations at full capacity and without limits. "To access these places, the wearing of a mask remains compulsory," announced Jean Castex, French Prime Minister, on 20/01/2022.

The new version of the Ligue de football professionnel's health protocol, the eighth version of the document since July 2021, confirms that "100% of the seats can be sold" (document available to download in French).

• Wearing a mask is compulsory ("spectators must wear a mask from the age of 6 in stadiums, regardless of the venue," states the health protocol).
• The vaccination pass is also compulsory (for those aged 16 and over). Mandatory health pass for 12-15 year olds.
