LaLiga: Vivo (smartphones), official partner in Spain and Portugal until 2024-25

Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has become the "official smartphone sponsor" of LaLiga until 2024-25, announced the Spanish body on 02/02/2022. The partnership covers the Spanish and Portuguese markets.

Vivo has the status of national partner, the fourth level in the LaLiga sponsorship hierarchy. This is the first sponsorship agreement signed by the Chinese brand that has been operating in Europe since 2020. Vivo succeeds LG Electronics, the LaLiga's previous "official smartphone partner" (in 2020-21).

Vivo is an official partner of FIFA for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup and an official sponsor of UEFA for Euro 2020 and 2024. Since 01/01/2022, the phone specialist is no longer a partner of India's governing body for cricket (BCCI). Vivo was previously the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League between 2018 and 2021, a sponsorship space that has been taken over by Indian car manufacturer Tata Group (for 2022 and 2023).
