Formula 1: Saudi Aramco (oil and gas), co-title sponsor of Aston Martin F1 from 2022

Saudi Aramco (Saudi Arabian Oil Company), Saudi Arabia's national oil and gas company, has become a major partner and co-title sponsor of the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team from 2022 as part of a "long-term strategic partnership," announced the British team on 03/02/2022.

In addition to receiving a branded display on Aston Martin's cars, Aramco has also become a technical supplier of the Aston Martin F1 Team. The Saudi company will supply the team with fuel and engine lubricants. The partnership "will drive the development of highly efficient internal combustion engines, high-performance sustainable fuels, advanced lubricants and the deployment of non-metallic materials in vehicles," said the team, which will unveil its 2022 livery (the AMR22) on 10/02/2022.

Aramco is thus strengthening its commitment to Formula 1. The company based in Dhahran (Saudi Arabia) has also been a global partner (first level) of Formula One Group since 2020. Aramco is supporting F1 in its target of being "powered entirely by sustainable fuels by 2025."
