FIFA Club World Cup: Palmeiras (BRA) and Chelsea FC (ENG) enter the competition on 08 and 09/02/2022

The semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, which is being held in the United Arab Emirates from Thursday 03 to Saturday 12/02/2022, will pit Brazilian club Palmeiras versus Egyptian club Al Ahly at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) on Tuesday 08 (kick-off at 20:30 local time, 17:30 CET) and Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal versus England's Chelsea FC (Premier League) at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday 09/02/2022 (same time).

Seven clubs are participating in the "FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2021 presented by Alibaba Cloud" (official name): one representative from each of the six Confederations and one from the host country (see full list below). The European and South American clubs enter the semi-finals directly:
• Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras have qualified due to their victory in the last Copa Libertadores (2-1 after extra time versus Brazil's Flamengo, in Montevideo, URU, on 27/11/2021).
