FC Barcelona: Spotify, shirt sponsor and Camp Nou title sponsor for €280m over 2022-2025 (media)

Spotify, a music and podcast streaming platform, has reportedly reached an agreement with FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) for the Swedish group to become the club's new major partner for three seasons from 2022-23 (2022-2025), according to Catalan radio station RAC1 on 08/02/2022.

The deal, valued at €280m, or €93.3m per season, would make Spotify the successor of Rakuten, Barça's main shirt sponsor since the 2017-18 season (€55m per year), whose contract will not be renewed at the end of the 2021-22 season. The agreement would cover the men's and women's teams' match and training kit (back sponsor).

According to the radio station, the platform, which has 381 million users (180 million of which use paid accounts), will also become the first title sponsor of the Camp Nou, FC Barcelona's home stadium, which will be known as "Camp Nou Spotify".
