Real Sociedad: Cazoo (vehicle e-commerce) to succeed Finetwork as main shirt sponsor from 2022-23

Cazoo, an online vehicle sales platform, will become the main shirt sponsor of Real Sociedad (LaLiga Santander) from 2022-23, announced the Basque club on 08/02/2022. The duration of the partnership will be three seasons (2022-2025).

This is the first sponsorship agreement signed by Cazoo in Spain. "The partnership with Cazoo will take effect from 01/07/2022 and will be a further step in the British company's move into the state market following its recent entries into France and Germany, as well as its acquisition of Barcelona-based Swipcar (17/11/2021)," explained Real Sociedad.

The Spanish club has had telecommunications operator Finetwork as its main shirt sponsor in 2021-22 since an agreement on 13/10/2021. Real Sociedad did not have a main shirt sponsor at the start of the 2021-22 season. In 2020-21, the club displayed the logo of the platform IQONIQ (fan tokens) on its shirts, a company that went into liquidation in January 2022.
