Serie A TIM: FC Inter Milan to open an academy in Boston, the club's first in the United States

FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) will open an academy in Boston (Massachussets), its first in the United States, announced the club on 07/02/2022. Developed in partnership with the South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC), a community-based organisation that works with disadvantaged individuals and families in Middlesex County, Massachussets, the academy will also be the Italian club's first to offer study grants.

The Inter Academy MetroWest Boston will be launched in February 2022 and will be able to accommodate up to 400 young players. It will be supervised by FC Inter Milan's technical staff "who will keep close tabs on the project in terms of training up local coaches and young athletes," explained the Milanese club.
