LaLiga: renewed partnership with US Soccer Club to develop football in the United States (2022-2025)

LaLiga North America, the Spanish professional league's subsidiary dedicated to the promotion of football across the Atlantic, has renewed its partnership with US Soccer Club, an organisation affiliated to the US Soccer Federation and dedicated to the development of clubs on American territory, for a period of three years (2022-2025), announced LaLiga on 03/02/2022. The body has been a partner of US Soccer Club since 2015.

This renewal is part of LaLiga's strategy "to promote the growth of grassroots football in the USA in the run-up to the 2026 World Cup through LaLiga Grassroots," said the Spanish league. In 2018, LaLiga North America was created as a joint venture with Relevent, an American company specialised in media, sport and entertainment. Since 03/06/2021, LaLiga North America has also been operating in Mexico, where some of the 2026 World Cup matches will take place (Canada will also host some).
