CITYevents 2014: Sports event-hosting conference to be held in Paris on 13 and 14/11/2014

The theme of the fifth edition of CITYevents conference is "Winning Strategies for Hosting Sporting Events". The conference will bring together cities, international federations and event organisers at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris (in the eighth arrondissement) on 13 and 14/11/2014.

Conference participants include the organisers of Euro 2012 (in Poland and Ukraine), Eurosport, Bouygues, Lagardère Unlimited, the Qatar Olympic Committee and representatives of the cities of London (England), Brest, Marseille, Montpellier and Rennes. Subjects that will be discussed include increasing one's odds of getting the hosting of a sporting event, envisioning and organising a successful event, and leaving a concrete social legacy after the event is over.

Registration for the event costs €780 through 01/10/2014 and €850 thereafter (taxes included). Registration is open on the event website. Companies can rent spaces to set up stands.
