Paris Saint-Germain: Mizuno succeeds Nike as equipment supplier of Sergio Ramos (ESP) from 2022

Mizuno has become the official equipment supplier of Sergio Ramos (35) from 2022, announced the Japanese group on 09/02/2022. The Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) defender will now be the ambassador of Mizuno's Morelia Neo 3 boots.

The former Real Madrid CF player (LaLiga Santander, 2005-2021) has not displayed an official equipment supplier since November 2020. The Spanish world champion was one of Nike Football's main ambassadors between 2010 and 2020 as part of a contract worth an estimated €2m per season. The arrival of the player with 153.6 million followers on social media is the first prestigious partnership in football for Mizuno (240,000 followers in total on the "Mizuno Football" social media channels).

"Mizuno is in the process of investing in the team sports category. We launched this category only two years ago. We are entering markets that were completely out of our reach before. In European football, there will soon be clubs equipped by Mizuno," said Nicolas Hope, general manager of Mizuno France, to News Tank Football on 03/05/2021.
