FIFA: Platini to announce in Monaco, on 28/08/2014, whether or not he will run for president in 2015

Michel Platini, president of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), will announce on 28/08/2014, during a press conference organised in Monaco (11:00 CET), whether or not he will be running for president of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) on 29/05/2015 in Zurich (CHE).

Prior to this press confederence, he will take part in a meeting with the 54 presidents of UEFA-affiliated federations scheduled at 9:00 CET at the Méridien hotel. Michel Platini will explain his program regarding the future of UEFA, and, more generally, of football. He wishes to create a "free and open conversation" with his interlocutors on all the major issues on which the international federation works on. However, there will be no vote regarding a possible candidacy of Michel Platini to the FIFA presidency.
