Bayer 04 Leverkusen: Castore to become the club's equipment supplier from 2022-23

The British brand Castore is to become the official equipment supplier of Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) from the 2022-23 season until 30/06/2027, announced the club on 10/02/2022.

"Castore will supply kit for the Werkself (men's team) and the women's and youth teams at Bayer 04. In addition, Castore will also launch a Black and Red leisure range and have a presence as a partner at the BayArena and on all Bayer 04 channels," continued the club, which was equipped by Jako over the 2016-2022 cycle, for an estimated €3.5m per season. The German brand succeeded adidas as Bayer Leverkusen's equipment supplier at the end of the 2015-16 season. adidas had previously equipped the club since the 1960s.

This is Castore's fourth football partnership in 2021-22 after Rangers FC (Cinch Premiership), Newcastle United FC (Premier League) (a deal valued at £5m/€5.8m per season) and Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (Premier League).
