Premier League: Sunderland AFC launch official YouTube channel

Sunderland AFC (Premier League) launched their official channel on the online platform for video hosting and sharing YouTube, on 22/08/2014.

The new channel will broadcast exclusive video content, such as behind-the-scenes features, player interviews and archive imagery and will target both the domestic and international fan base. The fans who subscribe to the channel will also get the chance to win Sunderland-themes prizes.

“The launch of the YouTube channel is the next step for us as we look to grow and develop our digital estate. It will complement our existing video service and will help to bring Sunderland to a whole new audience”, said Gary Hutchinson, the commercial director of Sunderland AFC, on 22/08/2014.

The YouTube channel of the Black Cats has 3,170 subscribers on 28/08/2014.
