Premier League: £5.3bn (international) and £5.1bn (domestic) from TV rights for 2022-2025 (press)

The Premier League's domestic and international broadcasting rights, over the 2022-2025 cycle, will bring in £5.1bn (€6.07bn) and £5.3bn (€6.31bn) respectively, according to British newspaper The Times on 10/02/2022.

The value of international rights is up 30% compared to the current cycle (2019-2022) and exceeds the value of domestic rights for the first time. The overall figure for the 2022-2025 period, including commercial rights, would be £10.5bn (€12.5bn), or £3.5bn (€4.17bn) per season.

Manchester City FC are set to earn £153m (€182m) if they retain their title in 2021-22, while with future deals this is expected to rise to £176m (€209m) in 2022-23, according to The Times.

The growth in international rights is being driven by record deals with NBC in the USA and Sweden's Nent Group in Scandinavia. Both deals were signed for a period of six years (2022-2028) and are worth more than €2bn in both cases (see related articles).
