Borussia Mönchengladbach: Sonepar (electrical products) extends as sleeve sponsor until 2024-25

Sonepar, a French group specialised in the distribution of electrical products, has extended its sponsorship of Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga) as a sleeve sponsor and "innovation partner" for three more seasons (2022-2025), announced the German club on 11/02/2022.

Sonepar continues to benefit from the status of co-sponsor, the second level in Borussia Mönchengladbach's sponsorship hierarchy. Sonepar's annual fee of €2.5m will remain unchanged for the new rights cycle, according to German media. The new agreement covers the club's senior women's team and youth teams.

"Sonepar and Borussia have been trusted partners for more than a decade now and this early long-term extension until 2025 is a great sign in the current times," said Stephan Schippers, CEO of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

• In 2020-21, Sonepar succeeded H-Hotels, Borussia's sleeve sponsor since 2018-19, in an agreement that was initially planned to run until the end of 2021-22 (€2m/season).
