Rugby: Altrad (construction), main jersey sponsor of an Australian franchise for 2022-2025

French construction and industrial equipment distributor Altrad has become a major partner and shirt sponsor of the Western Force (Super Rugby Pacific) for four seasons (2022-2025), according to the Australian professional rugby union franchise based in Perth, on 11/02/2022. The agreement was signed via the sports marketing agency Playbookx.

The Altrad brand will appear on the front of the home and away jerseys of all the franchise's teams, including the men's and women's teams, as well as on the training kit. The partnership begins for the 2022 seasons of both Pacific Super Rugby (an inter-franchise competition based in Australia and New Zealand, which begins on 18/02/2022 and replaces Super Rugby due to travel restrictions caused by the pandemic) and Super W, its women's counterpart.

"Altrad’s global strategy is to support rugby at all levels from grassroots up to international level, make the game more accessible to First Nation junior players and support female and diverse participation," explained the group, which is strengthening its brand footprint in rugby.
