Social media: French Football Federation launches women's team Instagram and Twitter accounts

"The French women's team, which until now has shared the same social media accounts as the French men's team, now has its own Instagram and Twitter accounts. These two social networks dedicated to the French women will share more sports, insider and lifestyle content throughout the season," announced the French Football Federation (FFF) on 12/02/2022.

These Instagram and Twitter accounts, which have more than 11,700 and nearly 5,000 followers respectively as of 14/02/2022, are being launched ahead of the second edition of the Tournoi de France (on 16-22/02/2022), an invitational tournament for women's national teams.

"The community of Les Bleues fans will be able to benefit from enriched content to follow the French team's players throughout the season as they prepare to compete in the Women's Euro 2022," said the FFF, which now manages 24 accounts dedicated to seven brands, with more than 36 million followers (see below).
