2021-22 Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 22 (10,158 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 22 of the 2021-22 Bundesliga season drew an average of 10,158 spectators per match from Friday 11 to Sunday 13/02/2022. The average fill rate was 29%.

Six out of nine matches posted an attendance of 10,000, a limit which is the norm at federal level (within the limit of 50% of stadium capacity) but which local authorities can depart from depending on the health situation in their local area.

The state of Saxony allowed the Red Bull Arena to host 15,000 spectators, the biggest crowd of the matchday, for RB Leipzig - 1. FC Köln (3-1), on 11/02/2022 (kick-off at 20:30 CET). Leipzig announced on 13/02/2022 that it was now authorised to host up to 24,758 spectators for its next matches, starting with the Europa League Round of 32 first leg versus Real Sociedad (LaLiga Santander) on Thursday 17/02/2022 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

The average attendance for the Bundesliga is 18,984 spectators per game after 22 matchdays (excluding matches played behind closed doors or which drew equal to, or less than, 1,000 people), for an average fill rate of 43.5%.
