UEFA: Socios.com, official fan token partner of the Champions League (2021-2024)

Socios.com, a cryptocurrency blockchain platform owned by Maltese companies ChiliZ and Mediarex Sports & Entertainment, has been awarded the licensing rights to generate official Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League and Super Cup fan tokens for the 2021-2024 cycle, announced UEFA on 15/02/2022.

As part of the agreement, Socios.com also becomes a regional partner of the UEFA Champions League and Super Cup for the US market until the end of 2023-24. "Through its UEFA Champions League regional sponsorship partnership, Socios.com will also benefit from brand exposure via virtual perimeter boards, broadcast sponsorship billboards, and digital sponsorship rights in the USA," explained the European body.

"This is UEFA's first fan token partnership. This new agreement will see Socios.com partner with UEFA to use their men's club competition branding and exclusive experiences to further enhance the value of Socios' club fan tokens by awarding club fan token holders with add-on fan tokens for UEFA men's club competitions," said the body.
