Germany: "We assume spectator limits will be abolished in the foreseeable future" (D. Hopfen, DFL)

"We assume that upper limits for spectators will also be abolished in the foreseeable future. Just like cultural events and other sports, football stands for social togetherness. Germany has decided to embark on a three-stage plan to relax the measures imposed by the Covid-19 health crisis, removing "a large part of the restrictions currently applied" (read below) between now and 20/03/2022, announced Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany, at the end of a videoconference meeting with the leaders of the 16 Länder (regions) on 16/02/2022.

Before all restrictions are lifted, there will continue to be capacity limits (60% in indoor spaces, 75% outdoors) for sports venues and major events, which remain accessible only upon presentation of a vaccination pass.
