Matchday 23 of the 2021-22 Bundesliga season drew an average of 12,917 spectators per match from Friday 18 to Sunday 20/02/2022. The average fill rate was 25.2%.

Five out of nine matches posted an attendance of 10,000 spectators, a limit which is the norm at federal level (within the limit of 50% of stadium capacity) but which local authorities can deviate from depending on the health situation in their local area.

The Bavarian government allowed the Allianz Arena to host 25,000 spectators, the best attendance of the matchday for FC Bayern Munich - SpVgg Greuther Fürth (4-1), on 20/02/2022 (kick-off at 15:30 CET).

In general, Germany has decided to embark on a three-stage plan to ease the measures imposed by the Covid-19 health crisis, removing most of the current restrictions by 20/03/2022, as announced Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany, following a videoconference meeting with the leaders of the 16 Länder (regions) on 16/02/2022.
