Premier League: EA Sports extends as an official partner of Liverpool FC from 2021-22

EA Sports, an American video game publisher that holds the "FIFA" (video game) license, has extended its partnership with Liverpool FC (Premier League) from 2021-22, as part of a "long-term" agreement, announced the Merseyside club on 22/02/2022.

"Over the past two years, EA Sports' content has been well received by fans, with the now-annual series of the entertaining FIFA Ratings Reveal videos generating more than 64 million cross-platform views across the club’s social channels during the past three seasons. Currently, LFC and EA's FIFA 22 Ratings Reveal video is ranked number one in terms of views on YouTube compared with other European club content," said Liverpool FC.

EA Sports continues to benefit from official partner status, the fourth level in LFC's sponsorship hierarchy. EA Sports succeeded the Japanese video game publisher Konami, Liverpool FC's official partner for the 2016-2019 cycle, on 16/07/2019.
