Serie A TIM: FC Inter Milan opens an academy in Sharjah (UAE), the club's third in the Middle East

FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) has opened an academy in Khor Fakkan, in the Emirate of Sharjah (UAE), announced the club on 22/02/2022. The club is already present in the Middle East through two academies launched respectively in Saudi Arabia in January 2020 and in Dubai (UAE) in September 2021.

"The new football programme is the result of the partnership with REPs, an established business in the UAE which takes care of developing wellbeing and healthcare practices locally. The new Inter Academy project entails the rolling out of new football academies in the Emirates, starting with the city of Khor Fakkan, offering young footballers the chance to receive technical and educational training in line with Inter's standards and values, working hand-in-hand with the partner on the technical supervision of sports programmes in the area which are already monitored by REPs," explained the Italian club.
