FIFA: Annual Report 2021, with 2021 financial results and provisional budget for 2023

FIFA has published its 2021 Annual Report, which includes the body's 2021 financial results and projected budget for 2023, following its Council meeting on 24/02/2022. "In 2021, the world slowly returned to some kind of normality after the Covid-19 pandemic had led to numerous events, competitions and gatherings being cancelled or postponed in 2020."

"The report focuses on the return to football as six FIFA final tournaments were staged in 2021, highlights the preparations that are being made for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 and provides a detailed report of the other activities of the FIFA administration in 2021," said the world body, which has approved the agenda for its 72^nd Congress to be held in Doha, Qatar, on 31/03/2022, the day before the draw for the 2022 World Cup.
