2021-22 Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 24 (12,917 spectators on average per game)

Matchday 24 of the 2021-22 Bundesliga season drew an average of 14,292 spectators per match from Friday 25 to Sunday 27/02/2022. The average fill rate was 43%.

Four out of nine games posted an attendance of 10,000 spectators, a cap which is still the norm at the federal level (within the 50% stadium capacity limit) but from which the local authorities can derogate according to the health situation in their local geographical area.

The health authorities of the city of Frankfurt am Main (Hesse, GER), thus authorised the Deutsche Bank Park to host 25,000 people for the Eintracht Frankfurt - FC Bayern Munich game (0-1), the best attendance of the matchday, on Saturday 26/02/2022 (kick-off at 18:30 CET).

Germany has decided to embark on a three-stage plan to ease the measures imposed by the Covid-19 health crisis, removing most of the current restrictions by 20/03/2022, as announced Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany, following a videoconference meeting with the leaders of the 16 Länder (regions) on 16/02/2022.
