TikTok: number of followers of the 83 European Top 5 clubs with an official account (March 2022)

With 24.4 million followers, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) remain the most popular European club on the Chinese social network TikTok, far ahead of Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League, 14 million) and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander, 13.5 million), according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/03/2022.

Tottenham and Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) posted the best increase in absolute value during the month of February 2022, with an additional 1 million fans each. FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM, +900,000 followers) complete the podium.

The best percentage growth (excluding accounts with less than 100,000 followers) was posted by Stade Brestois 29 (Ligue 1 Uber Eats, +107.9%), ahead of Inter Milan (+45%) and Elche CF (LaLiga Santander, +32.4%).

83 of the 98 clubs competing in the European Top 5 in 2021-22 (84.7%) have an official account on TikTok:
• 20 out of 20 (100%) in the Premier League
• 18 out of 20 (90%) in LaLiga Santander
• 17 out of 20 (85%) in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats
