Arsenal FC: a turnover of £328.2m (-4.7%) and net loss of £107.3m in 2020-21

Arsenal FC (Premier League) posted a turnover of £328.2m (€381.7m on 31/05/2021) for the financial year 2021 (01/06/2020 to 31/05/2021), down 4.7% versus 2020 (£344.5m/€382.7m on 31/05/2020), announced the club on 28/02/2022.

Arsenal FC's revenue fell for the fourth consecutive season in 2020-21, down from £423.9m (€487.9m) in 2016-17, the last time the London club played in the Champions League. The club is also suffering from the near absence of spectators at the Emirates Stadium (60,260 capacity) due to health restrictions linked to the pandemic, which resulted in a significant drop in matchday revenues (-95%, to £3.8m/€4.4m), which was not compensated for by the increase in TV rights (+55%) from Arsenal's good run in the Europa League (semi-finalists), which reached £184.4m (€214.4m). The London club's second largest income source, commercial revenue, fell slightly (-4.1% to £136.4m/€158.6m).
