OGC Nice: club asks for donations (food, clothing, etc.) to help the people of Ukraine

"Since the start of the week, the whole of the OGC Nice (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) family, the club's employees, players and members of staff have been moving to support the people of Ukraine. A large-scale collection of essential items has taken place and OGC Nice would also ask you, our fans, to unite with us in our efforts," announced the French club on 01/03/2022. This initiative follows Russia's invasion of Ukraine led by President Vladimir Putin, which began on 24/02/2022, and the resulting crisis situation for the civilian population in the country.

The club is asking fans to donate "non-perishable foodstuffs (canned goods and pasta); toiletries and medicines, particularly for youngsters, as well as any items of clothing," said OGC Nice, which has set up two collection points, the first at the training centre, the second at its official shop in the centre of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes).

"OGC Nice will then organise the delivery of these items via the most efficient distribution channels. We are counting on the support of all members of the red and black family," added the club.
