The LFC Foundation has organised an auction of football shirts, the proceeds of which will be used to fund the British Red Cross' "Ukraine Crisis Appeal" which is aimed at supporting Ukrainian people affected by the war following Russia's invasion of the country led by President Vladimir Putin, which began on 24/02/2022, announced Liverpool FC (Premier League) on 02/03/2022.

The English club's players will sign the shirts worn during the match versus Norwich City FC (2-1, 5th round of the 2021-22 Emirates FA Cup, Wednesday 02/03/2022), which will then be auctioned by the club's Foundation. The funds raised will "help the Ukrainian people access vital supplies of food, water, first aid, medicines, warm clothes and shelter," explained the 2021-22 Carabao Cup champions. In an additional show of solidarity with Ukraine, the Main Stand at Anfield (Liverpool, ENG) was lit up in the blue and yellow colours of the Ukrainian national flag, during the match versus Norwich.
