Premier League: OKX (cryptocurrency exchange), official partner of Manchester City FC from 2021-22

The Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange OKX has become an official partner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) from the 2021-22 season, announced the club on 04/03/2022. The deal is OKX's first sponsorship agreement in sports.

"The partnership will span Manchester City men's and women's teams, in addition to the club's esports operations. The new partners will collaborate on a number of exclusive experiences for OKX's global customer base, in addition to an in-stadium presence across the Etihad Stadium (Manchester, ENG) and Academy Stadium (where the club's U21 team and women's team play). The new partners will also look to explore future innovation projects together," explained the 2020-21 Premier League champions.

In the crypto-asset sector, Manchester City had previously entered into a partnership with 3KEY Technologies, a company specialised in crypto trading advice and crypto-assets, on 15/11/2021. This partnership was then suspended by the Mancunian club due to suspicions about the legitimacy of the company, on 19/11/2021.
