Champions League: Nissan sponsors contest to elect best goal each week

The Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan, partner of the Champions League, will sponsor a "Goal of the Week" contest, which enables fans to vote for the best goal of the competition each week, announced Nissan on 28/08/2014.

This contest, available on UEFA's (Union of European Football Associations) and Nissan's websites from 18/09/2014, enables its participants, through a draw, to win several official products of the competition, as well as tickets for games.

Nissan became the official partner of the Champions League through 2017-18 on 07/04/2014. As part of this deal, the Japanese brand pays UEFA €54m per year. Nissan will be displayed on the advertising boards in all of the fixtures of the competition. It will also benefit from a large media presence and various hospitality packages.
