War in Ukraine: Discovery (Eurosport) suspends broadcasting of its channels in Russia

Discovery, the parent company of the pay-TV group Eurosport, has suspended the broadcast of its channels in Russia in response to the Russian military's invasion of Ukraine, according to the US media group on 09/03/2022.

15 of Discovery's channels, including Eurosport, are distributed by Media Alliance, a joint venture between the US group and National Media Group (RUS).

The American platforms Netflix and Amazon Prime Video have also suspended their broadcasting in Russia in the past few days.
