Olympique Lyonnais/UNICEF: 2^nd edition of the "Heroes Match" 10/05/2022 at Groupama Stadium

"On 10/05/2022, the Groupama Stadium will host the Match des Héros (Heroes Match), where Team OL Legends and Team UNICEF will meet in a friendly match, the proceeds of which will contribute to the protection of children in Ukraine," announced Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on 10/03/2022.

This is the second edition of the Match des Héros after the one organised at the Stade Orange Vélodrome (Marseille, FRA) on Wednesday 13/10/2021. The match between two teams made up of French and international personalities, including former Olympique de Marseille players (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), raised €427,250 for UNICEF and the Didier Drogba Foundation through the sale of 30,000 tickets.

"Organised by Ventilo Sport (solidarity events) with the support of Gones de Stade (sports events) and Crumbs, this charity event to benefit UNICEF and OL Fondation's programmes for children will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Olympique Lyonnais' first French championship title," explained the club.
