"We need to talk to UEFA about it again, financial fair play is not fair" (N. Al-Khelaifi, Paris SG)

"It is true that the financial fair play has been difficult for us (...). We want to respect UEFA's (Union of European Football Associations) rules. But we need to talk to UEFA about it again in October to change the rule. This is very important as financial fair-play is not fair", said Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris SG, on 03/09/2014.

"It is sometimes difficult to understand, but in the end end, the big clubs remain big and the small clubs stay small," he added in an interview for the French newspaper Le Parisien on 03/09/2014.

Paris SG signed a settlement agreement with the CFCB (Club Financial Control Body of UEFA) Investigatory Chamber, which is responsible for verifying the application of the financial fair play rules of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), on 16/05/2014. The main terms of the agreement are: a €60m fine (of which €20 is firm), a limit of 21 (instead of 25) in the number of players that can play in European Cup competitions, a maximum deficit of €30m for 2014-15 and no deficit for 2015-16, and a "considerable" restriction on transfer…
