War in Ukraine: AC Milan reissues an Andriy Shevchenko (UKR) shirt for the benefit of the Red Cross

AC Milan (Serie A TIM) is marketing a reissue of the shirt worn by former Ukrainian international Andriy Shevchenko during Milan's 2002-03 Champions League final victory (0-0, 3-2 on penalties versus Manchester United FC), announced the club on 13/03/2022. All profits will be donated to the Red Cross to fund its work with the population of Ukraine, which has been affected by war since Russia's invasion of the country led by Vladimir Putin.

Designed with the support of the former striker, "the Special Edition - Manchester 2003 for Ukraine with Shevchenko 7 on the back is inspired by the one worn by the 2004 Ballon d'Or winner in the 2002-03 Champions League final. The jersey will be emblazoned with the colours of the Ukrainian flag on the shoulders and breast, where the phrase 'AC Milan for Peace' will also be printed," said the club, whose Foundation is calling on supporters to donate to the Red Cross.
