LaLiga Santander: Volvo (car manufacturer), official partner of Real Betis Balompié until 2023-24

Volvo Cars Group, a Swedish car manufacturer, has become an official partner of Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) until 2023-24, announced the Sevillian club on 12/03/2022.

The Gothenburg (SWE) based group will display the logos of its hybrid SUVs on signage at the Estadio Benito Villamarín (60,721 capacity) as well as on the Spanish club's communication materials. Volvo will also supply a fleet of hybrid vehicles to the Real Betis Balompié and Coosur Real Betis (basketball) teams.

"This agreement goes in line with the club's sustainability program Forever Green. Volvo has joined this platform, which aims to use the most popular sport in the world to help reduce the impact of climate change. In 2017, Volvo Cars committed to progressively abandon combustion engines and to electrify their entire automobile catalogue. In 2019, all Volvo models have an option for plug-in hybrid," explained Real Betis.
