Qatar 2022: Africa zone playoffs to be broadcast by L'Équipe (some exclusively for subscribers)

The French platform L'Équipe will broadcast, exclusively for its subscribers, the 10 Africa Zone World Cup 2022 playoff matches on 25 and 29/03/2022, announced the sports media group on 14/03/2022.

La chaine L'Équipe (free DTT) will broadcast Cameroon - Algeria on Friday 25/03/2022 (kick-off at 18:00 CET) and a multiplex featuring three matches (Tunisia - Mali, Algeria - Cameroon, Morocco - DR Congo) on Tuesday 29/03/2022 (at 21:30).

The L'Équipe group acquired the broadcasting rights for these matches at the same time as the end of the group matches in the African zone, on 31/08/2021. 34 matches were broadcast between September and November 2021, to which these 10 play-off matches (five two-legged matches, see details below) are added, which will determine the five African teams that will take part in the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar, in eight months time.
