War in Ukraine: Ukrainian Football Association receives humanitarian aid from the FIFA Foundation

A shipment of humanitarian aid sent by the FIFA Foundation and destined for the Coordination Center of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has arrived in Ivano-Frankivsk (a city located in the south-west of Ukraine), according to the Ukrainian body headed by Andriy Pavelko, who is also a member of the UEFA executive committee, on 15/03/2022.

"These are medicines, medical kits, including defibrillators, and other medical supplies that the football community will donate to doctors at the Main Military Clinical Hospital in Kyiv, doctors who are currently worried about Ukraine's defenders and victims of hostilities," said the UAF, twenty days after Russia's invasion of Ukraine led by Vladimir Putin began (24/02/2022).

This medical equipment will first be transported to Kyiv (the capital of Ukraine, 450 km north-west of Ivano-Frankivsk) to the headquarters of the humanitarian organisation, which is currently housed in the premises of the Ukranian Football Association upon the initiative of the UAF.
