Formula 1: Google to display the Android and Chrome logos on McLaren Racing's cars

Google, an American technology services company, has become a partner of McLaren Racing (Formula 1) as part of a "multi-year" agreement from the 2022 season, announced the British team on 16/03/2022.

As part of the agreement, the Android (mobile operating system) and Chrome (web browser) brands will appear on McLaren Racing's MCL36 cars, respectively on the engine cover and for the first time on the wheel covers, a new sponsorship space made available to the teams thanks to the new Formula One Group technical regulations that come into force from the 2022 season. The two brands will also be visible on the helmets and racing suits of drivers Lando Norris (GBR) and Daniel Ricciardo (AUS).

Google has the status of official partner, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the team based in Woking (ENG).
