Real Madrid CF: partnership with Cisco to deploy WiFi network at the Santiago Bernabéu

Cisco EMEAR, a regional subsidiary of the American computer server company, has become a global partner of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) for three seasons (2021-2024), announced the Madrid club on 17/03/2022.

Cisco has been granted the status of global partner, the second level in the Real Madrid's sponsorship hierarchy. "The stadium will boast the best wireless connection, based on Wi-Fi 6 technology, to be found in Europe. Over 1,200 access points throughout the Bernabéu will offer a faster and more reliable bandwith to allow fans to enjoy interacting with their devices and applications," said the Spanish club.

"Over 1,000 screens that feature Cisco’s integral IPTV solution, which combines high-definition video distribution with cutting-edge digital signage, will enable the club to enhance fan participation throughout the stadium and generate new entertainment options," added Real Madrid, which severed its partnership with Fonbet, its regional betting partner for the Russian and CIS markets on 16/03/2022 (see below).
