Deloitte Football Money League 2022: Man City, Real and Chelsea top in terms of broadcasting revenue

Manchester City FC (Premier League) is the club that generated the most broadcasting revenue in 2020-21, with a total of €335.9m, according to the Football Money League 2022 figures, published by the British branch of the audit and consultancy firm Deloitte on 21/03/2022. Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), which generated €310.5m, and Chelsea FC (Premier League), with €309m, are second and third in the ranking in terms of broadcasting revenue.

These three clubs made it to the semi-finals of the 2020-21 Champions League (Chelsea won the final against Manchester City), alongside Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats). The Parisian club is only 14^th in terms of broadcasting revenue due to low domestic earnings.

All Top 20 clubs - except FC Zenit Saint Petersburg (Russian Premier Liga) - have seen their broadcasting revenue increase compared to the 2019-20 season, which was impacted by the shutdown of sports competitions for several months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
