Germany/DFL: MoU with the Vietnamese Federation and Professional League to develop local football

The DFL, the Vietnam Football Federation (FFF) and Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF, body in charge of organising professional football), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to continue supporting the growth of football throughout Vietnam, announced the German professional league on 16/03/2022.

"The MoU focuses on three main areas of collaboration: improving technical and sporting expertise, advancing league and club structures, as well as developing the football fan basis and culture in Vietnam. Over the course of the agreement, parties will share knowledge through meetings, training activities and fact-finding trips," said the DFL.

"The DFL will work closely with its Vietnamese counterparts to provide support and guidance in a number of areas relating to sporting performance, such as player recruitment and elite analysis.
