Qatar 2022: Byju's (educational platforms, IND), official sponsor of the World Cup

Byju's, an Indian group that develops educational platforms, has become an official sponsor of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, announced FIFA on 24/03/2022. The competition, organised in the Middle East for the first time, will take place in eight stadiums of the Persian Gulf emirate from 21/11 to 18/12/2022.

"Through this partnership, Byju's will leverage its rights to the 2022 World Cup marks, emblem and assets, and run unique promotions to connect with passionate football fans around the world. It will also create engaging and creative content with educational messages as part of a multifaceted activation plan," said FIFA.

Byju's joins Budweiser (USA, owned by Belgian beer company AB InBev), McDonald's (USA, fast food), Vivo (CHN, smartphones), Hisense (CHN, electronics), Mengniu Group (CHN, dairy) and Crypto.com (SIN, crypto) as an official sponsor, the second level in the competition's sposorship hierarchy. This group of partners includes five Asian sponsors, one American group and one European company.
