The 20 clubs of the Collège de Ligue 1 have met on Thursday 24/03/2022 and reached an unanimous agreement on the criteria for the distribution of the funds generated by investment fund CVC Capital Partners' entry into the capital of the commercial subsidiary of the LFP, announced the Ligue de Football Professionnel on the same day.

This agreement covers the distribution of "the funds resulting from CVC Capital Partners' acquisition of a 13.04% stake in the newly created structure (for €1.5bn)" and "the recurring revenues generated over the next 10 seasons, including domestic audiovisual and commercial rights, international audiovisual rights and digital rights," said the LFP, which has entered into exclusive negociations with the Luxembourg-based fund on 18/03/2022.

After deducting €100m for a reserve fund, €100m for the operating costs of the future structure, and €170m for the immediate repayment of the PGE (state-guaranteed loan) taken out by the League, the remaining €1.13bn will be allocated as follows, according to the French daily L'Équipe:
