Commercial company: "PSG's solidarity, a key element of the distribution agreement" (J-P. Caillot)

"Paris Saint-Germain has shown solidarity so that the Ligue de Football Professionnel can then present the clubs with a distribution key that suits them. This was a key element," said Jean-Pierre Caillot, president of Stade de Reims (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and the Collège de Ligue 1, to News Tank Football on 28/03/2022.

Caillot was reacting to the unanimous vote on 24/03/2022 of the Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs in favour of distributing the sums from the CVC Capital Partners investment fund (€1.13bn out of a total of €1.5bn invested), with which the LFP entered into exclusive negotiations on 18/03/2022 with a view to setting up a commercial company. Once the company is formed, the amounts will be distributed as follows:
•  Group 1: Paris Saint-Germain will receive €200m, i.e. 17% of €1.13bn;
• Group 2: Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais will each receive €90m, slightly more than OGC Nice, LOSC Lille, Stade Rennais FC and AS Monaco FC (€80m);
