Qatar 2022: 7 new qualified teams, Poland and Portugal, Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia & Cameroon

Two European teams (Poland and Portugal) and five from Africa (Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia and Cameroon) have qualified for the final phase of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (see match results below) on 29/03/2022.

These seven qualifications bring the number of countries already assured of participating in the XXII World Cup, which begins on Monday 21/11/2022, to 27 (out of 32, or 84.3%): Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, England, Iran, Ecuador, France, Germany, Ghana, Japan, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia and Uruguay.

The draw for the final phase of the 2022 World Cup (division of the 32 participants into eight groups of four) is scheduled to take place in Doha (QAT) on Friday, 01/04/2022 at 19:00 (local time/18:00 CET). By then, the Concacaf region will have established two new qualified teams from among these three countries: USA, Mexico and Costa Rica (last matches on 31/03/2022).
