Formula 1: official launch of the Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) night Grand Prix from 2023

Formula One Management has officially announced that the new Las Vegas Grand Prix (Nevada, USA) will be held from 2023, on 30/03/2022. With the Austin Grand Prix (in Texas, held since 2012) and the Miami Grand Prix (in Florida, since 2022), the United States will host three races in 2023.

This urban race will be run at night "on a Saturday next November" (local time, Sunday morning CET), rather than on a Sunday as other events are traditionally run. The 3.8 miles (6.12km), 14-turn and 50-lap Grand Prix route is designed in the "heart of downtown" on the Las Vegas Strip and will pass iconic Las Vegas casino hotels such as Caesars Palace, the Bellagio and the Venetian.
