FIFA: "Yes I am ready, I will be a candidate to the FIFA presidency" (Joseph Blatter, president)

"I will inform the executive committee. It’s a question of respect to also say to the football family: yes, I am ready. I will be a candidate for the FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) presidency," said Joseph Blatter, president of FIFA, at the Soccerex Global Convention, which brings together representatives of the football world in Manchester (ENG), on 08/09/2014.

Joseph Blatter should therefore officially announce his candidacy to a fifth four-year mandate during the meeting of FIFA's Executive Committee, on 25 and 26/09/2014 in Zurich (SUI).

"I feel good; my term will end on 29/05/2015, but my mission is not over. Together, we will build a new FIFA. You will decide who to vote for in 2015, but I am ready to accompany you into the future," said Joseph Blatter, FIFA president since 08/06/1998, at the 64^th FIFA Congress in Sao Paulo (BRA) on 11/06/2014.
