Ticketing: AS Roma, the first Serie A club to integrate an artificial intelligence solution

AS Roma (Serie A TIM), in collaboration with the Italian company Premoneo (software, AI), becomes the first Italian elite club to use an artificial intelligence solution for the management of its ticketing system, announces the club on 03/31/2022. The technology, based on "forecasting algorithms, which have obtained an accuracy of 95% in the various markets to which they have been applied", will be implemented from the 2022-23 season.

Through this partnership, AS Roma "will have access to a platform enabling it to incorporate data-driven decision making in promotional initiatives, fan-retention strategies and commercial activities. The software works by studying dozens of variables (weather conditions, tourist numbers in the city, occupancy rate of accommodation in Rome and whether other major events are taking place in the area, the current situation regarding Covid-19 cases), generating targeted offers which have the tendencies and tastes of Roma supporters in mind," said the club.
